The Goblin Guide
The Goblin Guide is the latest and most popular Warhammer Guide released to date, giving an all round knowledge of the game.
Just about every other Warhammer guide publisher sells their Order and Destruction guide separately. That is not the case with the Goblin Guide. The Goblin Guide not only comes with Order and Destruction guides, it also includes a gold making guide, a renown guides, an RvR guide, and a career guides.
And just because this guide covers all aspects of the game do not think that it is lacking detail, because it doesn’t. Each area is in the same amount of detail, if not more than the other guides. And considering the cheap price, you can’t go wrong.
Also the Goblin Guide is much more than just a PDF file. You also have access to leveling and gold video guides. This is something not found in our other two featured Warhammer guides.

Penn’s Warhammer Guide
Penn’s Warhammer Guide is written by another player from closed beta that really knows his stuff. Like all the other guides, his goal is to get you from level 1 to level 40 in the quickest way possible. And his guide does just that.
This guide uses a bullet/list type format detailing what quests to do, when to do them, and when to turn them in. This guide is quite similar to Ashling’s Guide, but I think Ashling’s guide comes out a little bit ahead in this area as he goes into a bit more detail than Penn’s guide does. So it basically comes down to preference; would you rather have straight to the point information or do you like a bit more detail?
Here are some of the features of Penn’s Warhammer Guide:
- Detailed step-by-step quest paths
- Specific instructions on how to complete EVERY quest
- Maps for ALL zones that show you exactly where to go to complete your quests
- Know when to change zones and where the best places are to go for your level
- Learn tricks and techniques for leveling that are specific to Warhammer Online
Overall a good guide, but if you would prefer abit more detail check out Ashling’s Guide.

Ultimate Warhammer Gold Guide
Andrew’s Warhammer Gold Guide is currently the only gold-making specific guide on the market. Other Warhammer Guides have chapters talking about making gold, which are quite fine however not as detailed as Andrew’s guide.
There’s 35 pages of real strategies you can actually use regardless of your career. Some are only useful if you’re rank 40, but there’s enough even for those who just started with Warhammer Online. Although it’s not THAT hard to make gold in Warhammer, it’s nice being able to buy whatever item you want or powerlevel your professions without having to grind all the mats. You’ll have more than enough gold for both of those, and that’s the point anyway.
With Andrew’s gold guide, you can make over 100 gold each day, and if you decide to buy that from the goldselling companies and risk your account, you can get less than 200 gold for the price of this guide. Which one do you think is better? That’s a screenshot from an actual gold selling website, and you’re welcome to check the prices yourself on any website.
Gold making chapter in Goblin’s guide also covers some of the strategies described in Andrew’s gold guide, and since you’re getting so many bonuses with Goblins guide I’d recommend buying it rather than Andrew’s. However, if you’re only interested in making gold in Warhammer Andrew’s guide will do more than fine.
