Warhammer Guide: Warhammer Online Warrior Priest

The Warrior Priest is a very effective class to be. With this class you will find yourself at the heart of any battle, with the advantage of being able to heal your allies. See our review below:

Strengths:

* Up close and personal melee combat.
* Group bolstering spells
* Heals powered by combat

Weaknesses:

* Not effective at ranged combat
* Heals require melee combat
* Less armor than tank classes.

PvE Overview

The Warrior Priest is a very effective class to be whether playing solo or in a group. In solo play a Warrior Priest must keep track of the build up of Righteous Fury, indicated by the small globe at the bottom of the screen. Righteous Fury is required to power the healing spells, and can only be increased through melee combat. Ranged spells are few, but the few low damage attacks can be used to pull enemies from a short distance away.

In group combat, the Warrior Priest’s buffs provide aid to those nearby, while the heal spells will also bring some aid. Taunts are not part of the spell book here, so holding aggro in a group situtation can prove troublesome.

RvR Overview

A Warrior Priest never fears the combat of RvR, but will cautiously appraise the battle’s layout. He must beware the ranged combat fighters; while he can do some damage to them, we will not generate the RighteousFury needed to keep his heals active. Close up, an enemy that moves around quickly can make landing a hit difficult. He must not stand his ground as a tank would, but be prepared to move and glide with the swing of his hammers.

Those with lighter armors will fall quickly under the Hammer’s close range onslaught, while a higher armor class can be defeated with the lasting ability the heals provide.

Warrior Priest Mastery Paths

Path of Salvation: A Mastery Path focused on healing and restorative powers. A player who specializes in Salvation will become a much more powerful healer, although they will still need to place themselves into the front lines of a melee combat in order to build up their RighteousFury.

Path of Grace: A Mastery Path centered around melee attacks which inspire and bolster the Warrior Priest and his allies. A Master of Grace will be able to simultaneously wreak havoc upon his enemies with his warhammer and improve himself and his companions, making him an especially valuable player when standing side-by-side with other allies.

Path of Wrath: A Mastery Path focused on crippling melee attacks which weaken, hinder, and harass the player’s opponents. Someone who specializes in Wrath will certainly be the most offensively-focused type of WarriorPriest, as they will be both damaging their enemies and weakening them with each swing of their warhammer.

Summary:

This is a great class to be and my personnel favourite. I would recommend anyone who hasn’t tried the Warrior Priest class to give it ago.

When you start your adventure in Warhammer or you’re training a new skill, there is one thing comes in your mind: “How am I going to afford this?” Gold is an important aspect in any game, and no less so in Warhammer. So, what you need is an easy way to earn large amounts of gold, so you can focus on playing the game.
The most simple and easiest way to earn warhammer gold is merchanting. As a matter of fact, merching is the process of buying an item for a low price and then selling it at a high price. This really is as simple and as easy as it sounds.

Warhammer Guide – How to be successful

In order to be successful, you need to understand supply and demand. In a nutshell, if there is a high supply, but a low demand, then the price will be low. But if there is a low supply and a high demand, the opposite will be true.
So all you need to do is to pick any item that strikes your fancy. You need to ensure that there is a demand for this item.
For example, we will say ore. Let’s say that the average cost of ore is 10 gold. If you were to buy it at a mine, however, miners are just trying to get exp. and don’t want the ore. They would happily sell you all the ore you can carry for only 5 gold. Now you have a place to buy.
Let us say you went to a Smithing area where people make armor and weapons. They don’t want to go to the trouble of getting the ore themselves, and they would happily pay you 15 gold if you could deliver the ore they needed. Now you have a selling place.
You can easily pull a 10 gold profit for each ore you sell. It doesn’t sound like much, but if you were to merch 1000 ore, you would then make off with 10,000 gold for profit. Not bad eh? And if you were particularly cunning, you could work out a deal with the smithies to buy their armor and weapons and then turn around and merch those to pkers.

You have got the basic idea of how to merch but you do not know what items are best to trade and what skills you can use to help you on your quest to riches. There are loads of people selling gold out there at stupid prices, with some players stupid enough to pay the prices. Don’t fall into the trap of wasting $30 for a thousand gold, when you can easily make thousands of gold by yourself, with very little grinding.

Warhammer Guide – How can I make gold easily in Warhammer Online?

Below are the Warhammer Guide top 5 tips for making gold in WAR:

1. When farming gold, try and stay focused. Mobs in WAR die pretty fast, if you waste time chatting your results will end up being very poor;

2. Find the right spot. There are a lot of enemy NPC’s in the RvR zones, but those are too scattered to make any use of them, instead look into the normal PvE areas for camps, especially around Public Quest sites. Your mobs should be in tight clusters so you can kill as many as you can;

3. Find the right mobs. The two major types of mobs you can find are either humanoids or beasts, you will want the humanoid ones as they are the only ones that drop real cash along with other items you can sell;

4. Keep the right drops. If you find a spot that gives a lot of seeds and dyes you should use that. Dyes are very popular in WAR as well as seeds. With the herbs you grow from seeds you can make potions, so seeds will always be needed. Never sell seeds to a NPC merchant, just gather as many as you can and sell them at the Auction House;

5. Choose the right tradeskill. You should pick the Scavenging gathering skill and use it on any and all humanoids you kill, even enemy players in scenarios or open RvR. It can add some nice gold over the amount you farm.

Warhammer Guide – Killer’s Guide Review

This is certainly one of the most detailed leveling guides we at Warhammer Guide have found. Not only does it have “the usual” leveling paths and quest walkthroughs found in other leveling guides, but also a bunch of other useful tips and tricks of the trade, like how to take advantage of the killing spree bonuses, gain more renown and experience in various scenarios, how to easily get more contribution points on public quests, hidden grinding spots, the list goes on.

Killerguides guide got a 4/5 rating as a leveling guide, but what’s special about it is that this leveling guide is much more than a leveling guide. It’s a complete strategy guide for Warhammer Online, and it includes various other chapters. Our favorite chapter is surely the one about making gold, although it doesn’t quite have the same detail as the Warhammer Gold Guide, but that is what you would expect from an overall Warhammer Guide. It gives you a ton of strategies on making gold in War, from playing the auction house (which items can often be bought for low prices and resold for higher), grinding, and making gold with tradeskills/professions.

There’s also a chapter about mastery builds for each career. Although it’s prone to change with various patches coming out all the time, the guild is often updated to reflect the new changes. There’s quite a few builds in there, and while it may not be the best ones, it will most certainly give you a lot of insight on how some of them work.

Warhammer Guide – RvR

The RvR chapter includes detailed strategies and tactics you can use when fighting against your opponents. This is THE warhammer guide to read if you want to learn about other career weaknesses and strengths, and it’s not something you can find on the average blog or forum about Warhammer Online.

Other chapters we found less useful, but might be of use to some of you: includes equipment lists and recommendations, Knowledge unlocks, tradeskills guide and several other.

The cost of this guide is $29.99 which is pretty good compared to some guides, deffinatly worth a read.

We definitely recommend getting this guide. It is probably the best overall Warhammer Guide we have come across, very good even for beginners!
